Piedmont<\/h1>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The Piedmont region is located in northwestern Italy, largely surrounded by the Alps. The literal translation of Piedmont is \"at the foot of the mountains.\" The region is large even by Italian standards; in the north of Lake Maggiore, a little further south the rice fields on the river Po in the Vercelli \/ Novara region. Then Turin, the Alps and ski areas before continuing down to the coast with the provinces of Asti, Alessandria and Cuneo.

The landscape is very varied and has many cultural-historical sights, nature parks and nature reserves where you can walk in abundance, cycling, motorcycling or winter sports.<\/p>\n

In the history books, Piedmont is also known for the Savoy royal family that ruled this region and many areas beyond from Turin for more than 1000 years.
The city of Turin, also called \"little Paris\" was the first capital of the kingdom of Italy. For a long time we only knew the city of Turin from the Fiat factory. The city became really popular after the 2006 Olympic Games. A city trip to this enchanting city is nowadays on the wish list of many.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Enthusiasts from all over the world come to this region to enjoy the gastronomic delights that the Langhe has to offer.
In particular the white truffle <\/strong> and the wines are world famous.<\/p>\n

The discovery of heaven called Jamie Oliver <\/strong> this region in its June 2013 magazine. He did this because of the very rich and varied cuisine, the great wines and the fact that in this region in 1989 the Slow food <\/strong> originated (Bra).<\/p>\n

Naturally we fully agree with him on this. All the more so because we believe this region has so much more to offer besides outstanding food and wines.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Since 2014, the region has been added to the world heritage list of UNESCO <\/strong>. Since then, the region is proud to present itself even more prominently on the tourism scene.
At the end of 2018, Lonely Planet <\/strong> mentioned the region as one of the 10 destinations that you should definitely visit in 2019.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The Langhe has also been called the new Tuscany for some time. A comparison that the region can proudly enter into. The rolling hills, the still sleeping villages, the ancient stately places with castles and towers, the still authentic farm life and the delicious cuisine with its royal wines make The Langhe a region that is more than worth a visit.

Serravalle Langhe<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

A small village (325 inhabitants) on the edge of the Alte Langhe (high Langhe) and on the edge of the UNESCO area Barolo <\/b>.
On the face of it a quiet village with few inhabitants and relatively little activity. This is fully compensated by the agricultural activities in hazelnuts and grapes.
Directly on the important road for many tourists (SP32) from the city Alba <\/strong> via Murrazzano to the coast and the gateway via Bossolasco to Alte Langhe.
Serravalle Langhe is also part of the \"strada romantica delle Langhe e Roero\" car route and is on the route of many walking and cycling routes. <\/b><\/p>\n

It is not unimportant that you find here the well-known and culinary high quality restaurant La Coccinella <\/b> <\/a> <\/span> <\/span> and that you can taste, buy and eat delicious wine at Azienda Vinicola Vivalda. <\/a> <\/strong><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, in Serravalle Langhe you can also eat at Trattoria Belvedere <\/strong>, BarLume <\/strong> and do your daily shopping in a small-scale supermarket La Botega delle Langhe <\/strong>.
